Description	The former food services building on the University of Minnesota, Morris campus was officially named "Behmler Hall" on July 1, 1966. Fred W. Behmler practiced medicine in Morris for more than 20 years and was WCSA staff physician. A staunch supporter of UMM, he was elected to the Minnesota Senate in 1954 and chaired the Interim Legislative Commission that recommended the WCSA be converted to UMM. In the picture from left to right: Mrs. Behmler, Dr. Fred W. Behmler, and Dean Rodney A. Briggs.
